I trusted you
which is all I remember
not the day that it happened
not that I was 14
certainly not your hands going down on me
not the fact that you were like my father
not that I cried the whole time
not that it would be forever ingrained in my mind

WELCOME REBECCA ~ Fortunately I did GREEK at School ~ so I fully understand the circumstances of your POEM !
It happens ~ but in a God Fearing Society it should NOT ~ Especially an older Man stealing the innocence of a Child who trusted Him ! The lowest form of depravity ~ it makes one ashamed to be a MAN !
Your hurt is echoed in the fact that you transliterated this to GREEK before you published it ! I trust you found sharing it cathartic. Your last two lines are very poignant.
