crowded room

Mo_Elizabeth

Silence envelops your head as you struggle to focus on your surroundings
Eyes swivel in your head searching for a familiar face
finding nothing, no one
lost in your own head

Others stand as strangers sit, gawking, shouting, boisterous in their ignorance.
Watching steadily as the people walk to and fro' -
The one thing they don't seem to get,
Is that only I in that room, am alone.

Busy buzzing lighting shrieks
Faces masked like circus freaks
Pounding heart and dizzy head
Frozen block the feeling dread
Nooone knows, no one sees
Hidden disabilities.
