Stranded

Angela1711

I cant say where my life will go right now

Because I don’t have any clue

You see I had so many plans

And those plans they hunt me still

For with each decision that I made

The course of those plans I traded

I trusted that I would make it to where I wanted to be

But here I am stranded Like a lost ship far out at sea

I search for lighthouse beyond the skyline

To guide me along the way

A compass

To steer me back to the shore

Before my dreams rest upon a deserted bay
