Love is so strange

dominique ruth

Take thy hand,
Kiss thy beauty,
If love could be so simple,
An yet here i am to explain,
Why love is so strange,
Love can be pretty,
Love can make you kiddy,
Love is so strange,
Love even can have a bad thorn to its name,
Not everyone you dwell to encounter,
Is nicer than thee other,
Love is so strange,
Take pride for example,
Pure and dignified,
Yet some view it as,
in your face,
Yet some view it as embrace,
Pride is so strange,
But love,
Leaves you with,
Coldness and emptiness inside,
Or passionate and warmth,
keeps your heart singing until the end of time,
Love is so strange.
I just wish when we fall in love,
It does not keep us guessing of where does it go,
But makes us shine and glow,
Even if its not the happily,
ever after.
