Our Graduations

w c

Our Graduations

Students we had been

At high schools and colleges too

And we finally reached the end

Where our diplomas were due

There were high expectations

For a good job ahead

As we had an education

And were well prepared they said

We worked hard to succeed

At jobs we had earned

And we soon had a family

That was our chief concern

We went to our school reunions

And wanted all to know

Our children were on the honor roll

And how we loved them so

To high school and college

Went the children we loved

And in the pursuit of knowledge

They did some growing up

There was such pride we felt

When our dear ones graduated too

And we knew that to the world

They would soon be introduced
