Let's be fireworks 
Together blasting off into the sky
But let's not explode 
Let's keep going
I want to expand your mind 
And make it as vast as the galaxy
To watch your eyes fill with childish excitement
With every new lesson learned
Let's take off together like fireworks
Learning everything there is to know
About each other 
Like we'll be together forever
Let's stay up all night 
Then sleep the day away

Like a child holding his first sparkler
I appreciate every second 
I spend in your presence
So will you be my firework?
A sight for these sore eyes to see
My bright flash to brighten the night
And show me that it may be dark
For a while but your still here

Fire because like fire your fury is both dangerous and uncontrolled
Yet alluring
Work because you are a work of art
Time was taken to put you together
And you are very much adored
Each one different from the other
Sparklers, bottle rockets, and roman candles
When we argue i get burned
Then i really can't stand you
You light my fuse 
I light yours and we'll take off together
Birds of different feathers 
For now we flock together
So let's be fireworks
Traveling together til we combust
Into beautiful colors
Crimson white and blue
Even on the 4th of July
We have neons too
So let's go right now
Let's light our fuses with the same match
Spin our fuses together 
With tape around us 
To hold us together 
As we take off to the sky
For what seems like seconds to those
Watching from a distance
But for us actually experiencing the ride
It feels like an eternity
They say the moment before you die
Is one of the most precious in life
I want to cherish this moment forever
So let's not explode but go farther into the stars
