Pink, purple and blue,

Colours that transfixed me on

such a dismal day.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I was having a really bad day and then I went for a walk and this was the colour of the sky that day. I don't know why but it really cheered me up and inspired me. Sorry that the image is the wrong way it wouldn't let me do it any other way!

    A fine write J. Not surprised you had a bad day - all that walking uphill, or tumbling downhill, as in the pic. Or did you take the pic laying down sideways?! heehee.

        Thanks for sharing JAYDE ~ Love the picture which complements an elegant 5 7 5 haiku ! Blue - Pink - Purple are all very soothing colours ~ Nature has that effect ! The same with GREEN. In our experience "Looking @ Nature" is always cathartic. Snow can transform a landscape as can Sunrise ~ Sunset ! Thanks for sharing ~ Short but very sweet !
