What We Become

What We Become

A man can live his life

With thought of being great

And the longer that he strives

The less he has to wait

To be a doctor or lawyer

Is motivation for some

And many mothers and fathers

Dream big for daughters and sons

Society has other professions

That reward in different ways

For teachers it’s to teach a lesson

And for ranchers it’s baling hay

God must be our guide

To what we each become

And with Him in our lives

We are successful every one

To work hard is always good

As we try to reach our place

And it is understood

God is with us everyday

A fine write w c. It spelt disaster in the Bible if God was NOT with people - individuals or collectively.

Thanks, orchidee. i agree that we're lost without God in our lives. The key is to know the many different ways he appears to us.
