Hue and Saturation

Tom Wood

It’s tearing me apart

My soul isn’t free

My lips turn tart

My eyes shine brightly

I’m purple and black

Yet I’m dark and bright

I can’t keep track!

Of my darkest night

He’s switching up my scales

His smile, it is teeming

Forgetting all happy tales

Leaving me, in discomforting colors screaming
