First Law Of Metaphysics

Kurt Philip Behm

There’s nothing less,

  there’s nothing more

As time repeats…

 —once evermore

(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2019)

Beginning Again

How quiet are the closing moments

 of Winter

Its final lingering shadow

 passing over your soul

Days lengthening into night

 beyond all protest

What ended in shades of red and brown

 —beginning again

(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2019)

    Kurt,

    Loved them both...
but I must say that I’m partial to the first one!

Winter is symbolic in my eyes with many things. Seeing it used in poetry is always a pleasure. Seems to me that the essence of time is of great importance, and how right that is. Good read Kurt.
