I want to play outside

dominique ruth

I want to play outside,
But dad says its winter,
So its too cold to play outside,
I want to play outside,
But mum said It's spring,
So it's still too cold to play outside,
I want to play outside,
But my big sister said its summer,
so of course you can play outside,
But before i ran out the door,
My granny said its a heat wave,
so I had to stay inside,
I want to play outside,
But grandad said its Autumn,
So it's getting cold to play outside.
I want to play outside.

This is a tragedy all of its own.

      What do you mean

      • Nicholas Browning

Just thinking about a child that wishes to go outside and play and can't, hits me right in the feel zone. No worries though, I did enjoy the read.
