The Unspoken

Bo

I tell the truth but I always lie. I see the sorrow but I never look. To you I am an ignorant blind man, I speak but no one hears me. If I say too much you’ll never see me, if I say too little, this world would die. I know too much but to you knowledge is meaningless. To you, it is power, the peoples fear and the unspoken. If I speak and am heard, no one will listen. So many are too afraid to speak, in fear of losing the only thing they have left. You may not listen but you hear it. One day those who hide, those who stay quiet, will rise against your power. They will make you listen, make you see the sorrow that hurts too many to look. One day we will stop the tyranny. I tell the truth but always lie because to you, I am the unspoken. -06/09/17

I like the theme. Kind of like a ghostly conscience that lurks within and tells you what you don't want to hear. Reminds me of my own Demon. Haha, good to read one of your writings. I haven't seen your other work but I did see that you are relatively new, so hey! Welcome to the site. Hope to see you around!
