Release Me

EliDagger

Release me.

Release me to the crashing waves.
Release me to the pumping blood.
Release me to what makes someone feel alive.

I am trapped, that blackbird in a cage holds my soul and with it my freedom.

Release me to the open.
Release me to the comfort.
Release me to feel that embrace from my mother.

I am suffocating. The bed, where I feel safe, slowly suffocates me. Wraps around me, tells me there is no need to go out or for anything else. It is killing me.

Release me.

    YOU ARE RELEASED!
All jokes aside, pretty dark stuff we got here. Not sure what to say, other than feeling trapped in your surroundings is usually a bad sign. Best regards.
