Think Things Over.

kevin browne

To walk your life, to fight it through
Untwist your mind, to have a clue.
In your entireties, inside innovation
Concern your ego, start a creation.

Love your emotions, cause a scene
Think things over, think of a dream.
Pick up the pieces, pick up the old
Open your heart to see what it holds.

Feeling let down, feeling lonely alone
Think things over, think of an unknown.
Like holes in your shoes, trousers wet
And in times of storms, the concrete set.

To humiliate others, to make them feel
Part of the action, but clinch their deal.
In actuality of having learned the idea
Bring up the broken, repair their fear.

Look at your face, watch out for tears
Put on your make up, add up the years.
Shine in your glory, let love be the game
Unfortunate vows, who took the blame.

Gamble on 2 sides to either win or lose
Think it over, be careful what you choose.
And, in every mile spent walking a war
More hearts were broken, a life that tore.

Respect religiously for the young and old
Remember their quest, 100yrs on the road.
Wipe their mouth dry, clean up what's left
Feed their temptations, lay down to rest.

Either a friend be or foe, take them equally
To mention a woe, to say it sweet n politely.
Break out of yourself, break out of the jail
You cut the bars, you look thin and pale.

To stand alone, to stand amongst the dying
Hold hopes for them, hope they stop crying.
Sad in rag and bone, the floor has dropped
You can help them, too, as the crying stopped.

To beg, steal, borrow or to lend
Hold up the Earth, belief is sent
Carry your own, let others walk
Tell you your piece, have a talk.

But, what's more than that is this
You spend every hour on each bit.
For whatever you have and to hold
Let life allow it to give it a kiss.

Excellent advice in these well written lines Kev. - - some of the phrases you use are amazing and rhymed to perfection. One of my favorites has to be --- "Shine in your glory, let love be the game"
. - this one belongs in my saved list and thank you .

Stop and take a minute to see what many overlook. The message is clear, and it is solid advice. Nice read, Kev.

Thanks, Nicholas, and yes, until you read such words it's too easy to forget the importance of what's going on in and around your own life before realising it's too late to do something about it.
