Daydream

Hedy

Can I live in a meadow?

Stretching out around me like welcoming arms

Maybe a little house atop a hill

I'd keep generous chickens

I'd keep their eggs in my pantry and live off that

A soft bed, a frying pan

A washing machine

And not much else

I'd have guests often

Or never

Could I live under a green sky?
