We'll Meet Again

ettolrahc

It's your time to leave,

And of course we will grieve.

But we know you're not gone,

It's just your time to move on.

It may feel unfair,

But you're with people who care.

So when they welcome you,

Give them a kiss from us too.

As we say goodbye,

We will try not to cry.

Rather laugh and discuss,

The joy that you brought to us.

For now we depart,

But we will never be apart.

For we have memories to adore.

Until we're together once more.

As a firm believer in continuance of the spirit into another existence i read your positive words of this passing pleased with your positive sentiment.

To write of such times with such clarity marks you out as a poet of worth, able to convey meaningful motives beyond grief.
