Too Late

audralou

Wish you could hear

Whispers in my ear

But when I need help, it disappears

Eyes tightly closed

People tell me, be composed

Yet, my home is in the ground, decomposed

If demons hunger is fear

My body is the perfect place, come here

Even when Im in the ground, I know they will follow

Skin is so cold

You are wrong, I was told

Tell that to my grave, when my body is hollow

Feeling nothing at all is…

Best

Skin getting cold

Wont have the chance to be old

Don’t remember when I lost control

The world will be brighter

Hold my memories a little tighter

Momma I guess didn’t raise a fighter

If demons hunger is fear

My body is the perfect place, come here

Even when Im in the ground, I know they will follow

Skin is so cold

You are wrong, I was told

Tell that to my grave, when my body is hollow

Feeling nothing at all is…

Best
