Broken In Two.

kevin browne

Suffered in silence, broken in two
Lost loads of love, hearts over you.
Head to the floor, banged out for more
Pull out a knife against a locked door.

And playing with life, out when eleven
Doubting in darkness, lift up to Heaven.
Happens against will, forgot to begin
Clouds in the sky and angels can sing.

Start to collapse, got lost on the way
Back to the woods if that's what they say.
Fighting for justice, and in the right place
But, wiped off its face, be careful in case.

Both fingers and thumbs, broken in two
Found lots of love in a heart all over you.
Sisters and brothers, see what they got
Walk through the desert, getting too hot.

Jump through a maze, and lost on the way
Bulldogs and gators but that's what they say.
Now thoughts on the move, broken in two
Between pleasure and pain hate what to do.

In the right moment, it's a shadow of hate
Torn into pieces. Found out it's too late.
Careful predictions, all its inflictions
Cut by the sword, it had its convictions.

So, hearts over you, blood turned to blue
If, when it's not right, just think what to do.
More darkness or more, just take it again
A rollercoaster of life only sorts out the insane.

Waiting in silence, sleeping in turmoil
Sick in the day time, turn over the soil.
HIgh on cloud 9, jump off the Moon
Go get the Earth, and come back soon.

Broken in three, and broken in two
Life over with love, find out the truth.
Sadness calls to remind what to get
Another call starts and puts on a bet.

More hearts over us, lots of flowers to grow
Broken in two, and the tears start to flow.
Rivers will run wild then begin to dry up
In the right moment, but then is it enough.

Hearts start to cry and can hurt real bad
Hold up the Sun, but it's looking so sad.
Mountains of madness hung by a rope
Fingers and thumbs have learned how to hope.

Spirits alive in a world of demise
Spark invention, demand the wise.
Turn over the thought in which to live
More darkness again in grace we give.

Pictures not perfect, but broken in two
With hearts on the floor and all over you.
Touch up the corners, polish for a King
Don't ever wonder why all angels can sing.
