Standing as a tree

Standing as a tree

I stand tall, hearing your anger.

My skin tough, weathered and thick from your thunderous words. Tilt my head back, yet still I stand tall.

Water me sky, cry your tears clouds, cry your healing tears on me.

Fall on me tears of rain fill my soiled ground feed my rooted souls heart.

Stand tall, strength, wish daily for you I do. Show my beauty I have built on this ever learning journey.

Share my knowledge in silence as you stare.
