Thoughts on a Sunday

asrealastheycome

The wind catches my curtain
Sending me a well needed breeze
I ponder, in a drunken state
How do I find the strength to climb?
I know what it takes, to make it to the peak
But upon the base I reside
So I just pour another glass
To keep my flesh numb
A conflict between knowing solutions
But being hesitant to overcome
