Another Love Note.

kevin browne

A poets story shall normally run like this
Filled in with flowers, and a Mother to kiss.
It will open up its petal, and a loving note
For. upon the lady, a loving man will dote.

And, like any love poem that can be read
An affair involved is with a lover instead.
But, if a poet writes about someone new
There'll be a chance that it may be you.

Used by the right ink. and if in the right colour
A heart is written on and is held by a flower.
And, when it finally reaches towards the top
It's not there where the poem should stop.

You'll soon learn how to try and understand
How fields are alive with its flavoured brands
And, a poet won't want gold to last all week
He'll write for love, and strength of the weak.

A painted picture frame is a sad thing to see
For, there's no picture and everything's empty.
Yet, far away somewhere in a meadowed grey
Sat there dreaming he'll find something to say.

He'll put glamour in its place, filled to embrace
Or to see the Sun go down before it's too late.
He'll use a different colour everywhere he's been
He has class and brilliance as you've never seen.

To stand above the highest, to always be humble
And. craft his way through as he learns to stumble
But, to find another page with another love note
Helps his feelings, his loves and teaches to cope.

He'll build Dubai, Berlin, London, Paris and Mars
And, can put you up in the Heavens by the stars.
But, to rise to the forefront is a cardinal error
To show a world in love without any of its terror.
