A Paradise Place.

kevin browne

Wake up in the morning the Sun comes rolling down
Summer opens up a heat, sweating always frowns
The Moon sits down behind and saw some old things
Butterflies passing by flapping their coloured wings.

Caught up in a spiders web didn't know what to do
Unravelled a Rubix cube when the bill was overdue
The stars start to twinkle when the universe is sad
Picked a bunch of flowers. and Venus was so glad.

Woke up when yesterday was long gone and past
Tired in the evening, tired in the morn, asleep at last
Took a fancy dinner with a blushing lady of course
Champagne by the bottles with caviar and a sauce.

Worked on the mountains winter showed her hand
Beaches on a coast with a love written in the sand
Holding up the sky to watch it brighten up the day
Playing pulling petals with what kids have to say.

Spoke of dreams and wishes upon a star of glory
Wrote it on a whim now it's in the books of history
The best has yet to come but sailed a sunken boat
Others walking on water, others jogging down notes.

Sparkling lights from a distance that's never seen
Even where the rivers flow are they broken dreams
Castle cards collapsed beside the ace of hearts
Find a love, another kiss with a man that fell apart.

Waking up tomorrow and merrymaking in the hay
Earth is a balance that can and will make us stay
The moon turns around and to see a happy face
In this world of beauty, they'll be a paradise place.
