Heal My Soul

daydreaming

I wake up in the morning
I’m moving way too slow
Then reach for the nightstand
To grab  my telephone
I listen to the messages
I know you didn’t call
It’s time to kick the stranger
I met the night before...

I just keep on reliving
My dull and boring life
I constantly worry
About my state of mind
Why do I keep dwelling
On things I can’t control?
I just can't make you love me
If your heart keeps saying no.

I know you’ve got the power
To make this sadness go
Your laughter is the drug
That heals my broken soul
The timber of your voice
Sounds like my favorite songs
You're pushing me to live
A life I can’t control.

I need to come to terms
I'm lonely every night
I always think of you
To get some piece of mind
I've never ever cared
To know who’s right or wrong
I raise my arms to heaven
I must regain control
Until I hear you say
I'm the only man you Love!
