My child I hope you are happy to be brought into this world
We don't have the most luxuries but I can promise you this! it's more than most have to be held
Amongst which all you'll see, that will thrill and feel real
This fatherly love that I have, will never be concealed
To remind you that there's nothing in your mind you can't achieve!
For when you know the word mistake, you'll know the word rewritten
Then you'll never forget, everything in life is a lesson
As nothing belongs to any one persons possession
The only thing in this world that you're keep for certain
Is a chest full of memories that will hide behind curtains
Made from the core of our never-ending love
With every fibre of my body, every ounce of my soul
My unwavering spirit will never leave you alone
So no matter what happens in your own time here
Live in love let go of fear, enjoy the journey while you are here
Within my arms you'll see it's true, as it's not just a printed tattoo
It's in everything I'll ever do, as my actions will hopefully prove
There's so much more to the words, I love you!
You'll know it in your core, as I'll know it for you
The smile on our faces will be living proof, that happiness is not waiting for you
It's was inside us all alone, from that moment we were born
The test of life is not letting it go but if we do
There's a whole world waiting to reflect it back to you

Great write Dan.
Always appreciated
Have a great day
With much peace and respect
Understanding that all we can do is the best we know how,
Know this too, that the children are NOT our possession, but our RESPONSIBILITY.
Enjoy the moments and memories that are yet to be made.
Well said.
Absolutely my friend, I claim no rights over them but full responsibility!
Until they can fly on their own then!
Always appreciated
Thank you
