Break With The Broken.

kevin browne

Break with the broken to make things better.
They'll be oceans open, they'll shine like glitter
Mend with the broken for downtrodden tears
Bend with the light, and pass through the years.

Speaking in silence with a voice over you
Silence has spoken for it's something to do
Whooping it up for, took a chance on its own
Make belief is a truth just as fast as it's grown.

Rain on a rainbow, but it stays with the light
Hold up a torment, but remember that night
Waves over oysters, all the fishies are gone
Drowned like a kitten when all said and done.

Shine like the Moon, and take stars in a hand
Like the seven sisters writing love in the sand
Glide through a mirror, but look for a reflection
Float past some dreams for a closer inspection.

Stunned by the Sun, but nothing is wrong
Write me a poem or even sing me a song
Knuckles clenched upon the table's floor
Screaming behavior so calls out for more.

Witness in watching, take eyes off of me
Blinded by vision if you don't want to see
Guided by distance is getting too close
Everyone listens when jogging down notes.

Forgive and forget, but try to remember
Winter draws in near the end of November
Close your eyes and have thoughts over you
Try something different, try something new.

I like the ebb and flow of the words. Anyone can rhyme words, it takes a poet to make them mean something.

      Well done.

Exactly, my friend and thank you for the compliment.

A tapestry of loves embroidery here. Save it or sling it, reflect upon it and remain or be dazzled and refrain.
Plenty in there to contemplate and as per usual Kevin's imaginative turn of phrase brings smiles for readers eyes whatever the subject.

You're a smooth talker, dusk arising, and with an intrinsic mind which perceives beyond what has always been written. Thank you for having a beautiful mind and thoughts of my writing.
