Believe

sylviasearcher

Seeking, breathless,
Hunting down some Truth
Planting seeds into epiphanies
Until yourself is what you lose

The wild winds will whisper
And the oceans never end
I don’t believe much in Truth
Only Beauty my friend

Disillusion dreamers
Stabbing out their lies
Until all that’s left is empty
Behind their glassy eyes

The birds begin to beckon
And a dead heart begins to mend
I don’t believe much in Truth
Only Beauty my friend

Bombing all the bad guys
Because we believe we know the Truth
Scattering kids into oblivion
My eye for your eyes and a truth for a tooth!

Seven suns are soaring
Casting love until light bends
I don’t believe much in Truth
Only Beauty my friend

When the truth spells out I hate you
When it seeks to separate and divide
When all that’s left is nothing
And your true face is a disguise

Come play in my nature’s playground
Just like Lyssa prophesied
I don’t believe much in Truth
But Beauty never lies

You nailed it... as soon as someone starts spouting theirs is the way I'm gone and out of there..........
