Child of Mine

G84

Oh little child of mine, May the world, be kind to thee.
Swiftly tick, the hands of time,
Taking mine, from me.

The day will pass, when I must leave,
Know you’ll never, be alone.
Although my lungs, will cease to breathe,
And flesh, will rot from bone.

You’ll always hold, a part of me,
Our bloodline, is one we share.
So when you’re feeling, lonely,
Remember, Dad, is always there.

You reminded me of how much I miss my Dad........

It’s sad to lose people, but always warming to know you loved so one so much that you miss them, better to have loved and lost - such is life!

I hope it brought back some good memories though!
