My rising sun

Dakota

the first thing I heard was the singing of the morning birds.

Today is a new day forget yesterday’s hurt.

walk it off find your wounds and rub some dirt.

i walk outside and I smell fresh cut grass.

im bare foot I walk past and smile with all those who laugh I try but I’m a fool I’m showing my bare ass.

If I am to meet a holy father or whoever is above.

When my time comes I hope to see once again the people I have grown love.

Now what do I fear most a failing in this life, will I live like the rest or do I fear to live my life because of death.

Though I am a fool I am human and with the people in my life I am blessed.

Makes me wonder who will I meet next.

and who will last in my life with me.

But things change as they should.

if I’m honest if I could freeze time I would.

Because everyone I loved has grown away from me but as they should.

Though you may have left me know you are in my heart forever.

If you ever have a cloud of doubt I hope we  talk and I can make it clear.

With this I hope your fears and doubts are done for now I rest await my rising sun
