Don’t Cry

Demi.T

You’re  blind eyed

In denial

They start to ask questions

You run a mile

You feel so shit

dunno what to say

It’ll all get better

You hope and you pray

The thoughts you think

Are they real?

Will you live for tomorrow

Will this be your last meal?

Can’t sleep

Can’t stop thinking

To much smoking

To much drinking

Feel like a failure

You took the wrong turn

Your head starts to spin

Your heart starts to burn

Look in the mirror

Stare at your face

All you can see

Is a massive disgrace

Swallow the lump in your throat

Wipe that tear from your eye

Think of something else

Don’t you dare start to cry

Don't look too closely, no one else sees the you which you see.
So brave face on for the world... why? Because out there is where a happier tomorrow starts. Tomorrow IS the first day of the rest of your life and there's something wonderful out there for you.

    Your writing is excellent.

Wow, I felt every word till the end as my tear began. I just let it gently fade away, thank you for sharing this heart felt pain.

    Always deeply appreciated!
