Waiting for you

Poetic Dan

A story of waiting for you, nothing I needed to do

But think of silly rhymes, like a frog changing its mind

It heard a cat meow, and thought what a wonderful sound

Practicing all the time, trying so hard to become a feline

Others said what a crazy idea, you're not made for this my dear

Night & day, day & night, it could feel something within every try

One day it suddenly clicked, leaping and meowing for joy

It perched on a nice spot, high enough to give out its roar

A sound so perfect, you would of never of thought

Neither did the cat, thinking dinner is starting to talk back
