at my watery hazel ones.
you look so calm, yet so hurt, your glance flutters away
as you talk, i feel you slipping away from the world, as your glance lands on me, then back
i can see your hurt, and i can see you wanting to be free, but we both know you cannot be, so i wait here for you, and i am sorry
