A Letter From Those Who Will Stand

Nafis Light

It's been so long since I have written a letter...
A letter for everyone to read,
Not just everyone...but also for the sinners...
Those who commit crimes and bring things asunder.

These are the dark times that are happening again;
They are rising like as fast as a corroding acid rain;
They bring people down and take away all that they could gain;
Even the sunlight and the moonlight seem so dim as if all are in vain.

I will rise again from the depths of my relaxation;
I will find those of guilt and pull them towards oblivion;
It will not be just me, but the people who are of salvation...
Determined to bring back order and restoration.

This city will be as it was,
As we are the last of the ones who will stand;
Peace, harmony, clarity, justice, love, and goodwill,
The city, its people, and its sky will again...be in colour and grand.

With Hope,

  • dusk arising

    Troubled times and peaceful repair seem to come in repetative waves. Luckily i have fallen between them with my life, too young to have been conscripted into WW2 and too old to be an active part in the melee which lies ahead.
    Philosophical i remain.
