when I pull this trigger
of this grenade...
It's the only way out that I could see.
The others said I should
because they want this to be over
and I want it as well,
but I'm the only one who could.
He is nice
because he gave me happiness
but he also abuses me,
I guess that's the price.
The others are my friends
although they only exist in my mind
and I'm the only one who could see them
and they are not those who make demands.
It is time
to have this all to stop completely
and for what I went through,
It is unfitting to call this a crime.
Somehow there's a relief
despite the house being on fire
because now that he is gone,
There is actually gladness rather than grief.
Now it is just me and the moon
and the others have also disappeared
which signs the chance of something new...
A new life is starting soon.

- Comment from author about the poem: It is actually a story based on Triplets (short film). It's a film about a boy who is abused by his father and has imaginary twin brothers. His twin brothers discussed with him and decided to end things with the grenade he got from his father. The ending was that they all...ya know. So when I watched the video again, I decided to write one about them but changed to 'imaginary friends' and basically gave an ending where he alone survived...having the chance to start a new life.
