Fragile

BPDsurvivour

This fragile glass has cracks,

You can hear the fear,

She tried to halt it in its tracks,

But it’s crystal clear, it’s way too near.

Splintered glass plummets to the ground,

Sharp fragments line the floor,

The scene soon turns into a battleground,

It chilled her to the core.

Plunging into her skin,

Vicious, wicked and sly

It laughs with a gruesome grin

Inside she let out a cry

It didn’t take long for the glass to splinter

It only took just one crack,

But that was enough to convince her,

The demon inside was back.

When I first read this it struck a chord... it’s brilliant you have found a voice to express your feelings... we all need that ... it’s just a case of finding it! What beautiful words x
