The Dark Room

Closing the window blinds

The darkened room welcomes me

Not long will I stay

So soon must I go

What or why

Question family and friends

Not much longer will I stay

Already must I go

Opening the blinds

There they wait

But the doors been sealed shut

And only I will ever know
