My parents split you where there
You’re my best friend how can you say “you don’t care?”
We knew each other in our mid-teens
We had a routine
We had our first child, our first apartment at nineteen!
I was a young mom you were a young dad
But even with all the pressure we still believed we would last forever.
No one could get in-between us what’s so ever
We were just perfect, all put together.
In present day we are both twenty, living our normal lives
We even added another addition to the family
But it’s crazy because you still found a way to ruin stability
Making me look like a fool, how cruel.
I’m so glad I got to know the real you before I lost all my sense.
Love is blind but I believe I made up my mind
Its time I fly high and say goodbye.
What do they have that I do not?
Yeah that’s what I thought
What did you really think you weren’t going to get caught?
Well you did, and now you have to live with this sin
It’s just crazy because I thought we were going to win.
So now I must stand by
I must put your feelings aside and worry about mine.
You need time I need space
You need to get your mind straight
You have no idea how much I want to punch your face!
You did it quieter than a mouse
The head of the house, decided to cheat on his spouse.
I must confess, the feelings I have are deep in my chest
But no one will see that I am such a mess.
For now I will just play our song
I will stay strong
I will forgive you because that’s what’s right
It’s just what you did was so wrong
I can’t play along
I need to find out where I belong.

You are an incredibly strong, beautiful young mother and you should be insanely proud of yourself. A stupid man and his pathetic actions can NEVER take that away from you. What matters is your life, what you want, and the love you have for your kids. I wish you nothing but happiness.
This poem was not about me but I will tell her you said these kind words 😊
