What’s it like, this time,
living with a roommate;
a roommate that you’ve
never met until today;
only having read-up on?
You know - you’re really
serious this time, broke and
struggling - but serious this time.
(Will I come through this time,
or will I leave things hanging
in the rafters? What’s different
this time?)
I’ve thrown off the stupid.
Yeah, I’m done with the stupid.
I’ve got my own room, it’s got
a door, a door that I can close.
I’ve closed off stupid.
Now on my knees Lord, do you see me here Lord? I’ve closed my door Lord, can you hear me here Lord? I’M ON MY FUCKING KNEES LORD! I’m, I’m on, I’m on my fucking knees Lord...

- Comment from author about the poem: The best prayer is often the prayer that no one else should hear. “But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” Matthew 6:6

I get angry with God at times, as other do. We might even say the F word. Sometimes it's just used out of laziness though.
Thanks Orchidee - shortly before my own reversion, when I maintained an agnostic/practical atheist point of view, having been recently divorced and forced to sell my home, while driving, I was suddenly hit by the most intense hail storm Imaginable. It is then that I prayed, the most passionate, filth laced prayer ever uttered from my mouth. And you what - God heard me and took over from that point on.
“A four-sided triangle, for instance, is in this sense inconceivable. It is a contradiction in terms, because a triangle is a three-sided figure; and a four-sided three-sided figure cannot be conceived and cannot be.” Theology and Sanity by Frank Sheed
“The less-instructed atheist will ask whether God can make a weight so heavy that He cannot lift it, in the happy belief that, whichever answer we give, we shall admit that there is something God cannot do. But the question is literally meaningless: a weight that an omnipotent Being cannot lift is as complete a contradiction in terms as a four-sided triangle. In either case the words are English, but do not mean anything because they cancel each other out. There is no point in piling together a lot of words, regardless of their meaning, and then asking triumphantly “Can God make that?” God can do anything, but a contradiction in terms is not a thing at all. It is nothing.“ (ibid)
