Insurance Policy

Meg

Rejection after rejection, too many kicks in the teeth that it becomes part of life, you think you will never find happiness or even smile again as it just an a never-ending stream of doom and darkness. You take an insurance policy out on life as a way of protecting yourself, vowing never to let anyone in as from your experience it will only turn to shit in the end and when you have been knocked back as many times as a 16 year old trying to get into the dancing using her big sister's I.D, you think no never again, I just can't allow myself to be hurt again then life has a funny way of letting you know it is the one firmly in charge even if you do have 'an insurance policy' all of your own. Life is a truly funny old thing.
