Joe Dawson

She knows ...

Notice of absence from Joe Dawson
Called away again, be back around end of October. Be good feel the love.

She knows he's been cheating,

She washes his shirts,

She can smell a new perfume,

She knows it's not hers.

She's looking her best,

But she knows he can't see,

'Cause the woman he married's,

Not the woman he needs.

She knows when she lingers,

Behind in the car,

What she finds in the glove box,

Are way far too small.

She knows when she wakes up,

He might not be there,

She knows who it is,

But she no longer cares.

She knows she's a fool,

But she's also a mum,

For the kids sake she stays,

Keep the family as one.

    Nice one!
Mums sacrifice a lot for their kids...if they need to!

Hi Laura, Forgive the delay if you will, it's just gone 1.20 am here and I am still working, just took a break and felt compelled to catch up. Yes, mums will always be mums regardless of what life throws their way. Many thanks. Joe

And, she knows everything about her man and if h'es in the wrong place try to find a man who will stick together as a family. Beautifully expressed. I love it.
