A little less

sylviasearcher

I close my eyes
And see
A warm hand
Pulling me
Tugging me
Coaxing me
Gently
Until I become

A little less

I wake each day
And wait
To hear poetry
Swaying me
Connecting me
Perplexing me
Willing me
Sweetly
Until I become

A little more

Less mess
More hot

Take me
With you
Into this dream

Wake me
Beside you
Basque in this stream

Lay me
Naked
Feel my
Heat

Make me
A little less
Hopeless
A little more

  • Comment from author about the poem: Iā€™m not very good at showing my vulnerable side you know... So be gentle... I was going to juxtaposition this poem with some wretched rocky tune but decided Iā€™d complement it with something with a softer centre.

Wouldn't it be great to find the one in your poem to reach estacy every day.

Your words speak well for you.
