Poke_-A-Dot-Sky

Frank J III

White clouds formed a poke-o-dot sky

Against the blue that is so high

Small wispy clouds just being there

Just enough to make you stop and stare

Lower clouds lazily drifting by

Making it look like two parts to the sky

The poke-o-dot pattern set in place

The other clouds drifting at no particular pace

Slowly the poke-a-dots dissipated

As larger thicker clouds slowly invaded

And then changed into a darker grey

The while totally gone away

Those too moved in and out

A strong wind blowing them about

And the sun playing peek-a-boo

Like the sun didn't know what to do

So once a natural occurring event

Beauty, awe and wonder sent

Like an old time silent move screen

Natures display can be seen
