can you explain, love at first sight?

They say its impossible,

At one point they were right.

Can you look at a woman

See all thats inside?

The pain that she carries,

Her burden, her cries?

you look in her eyes,

an heavens so true,

And you know from that instant

That she is for you.

I never believed it, i

Laughed at the thought,

Then one day i met her

A lesson was taught.

She loved more than the oceans,

So deep and so wide,

And there in that moment,

I was in love at first sight.

Comment from author about the poem: Most people dont believe in love at first sight, I didnt either at one point i thought it was nuts or corny to think like that. But 2 years ago it proved to be true. Made me a believer in how powerful love can be and how it overpowers all your other emotions. From the first day i met my fiance now of 2 years we have been together unseperable since that day. I moved her in with me that very night and it has been such a wonderful experience. I love her so much its crazy it just gets stronger each day.
