Forgotten

Tayama

They sit in a barren room, discarded by all,

The younger ones tend to look after the old,

Wondering why they could be so unloved,

Capable of so much, they still could of,

Its all changed so much, so fast,

Is it true, they could be the last?

Yes, human compassion is slipping away,

Some go sooner, not wishing to stay,

No one can blame them, sometimes pride is all there is at the end,

Heroes, one and all, a lost trend,

Go to the light one and all,

Remember everyone, stand tall,

Peace awaits you.....In this life, your debts have been paid in full,

Unlike so many your leaving behind, never doubt, God loves you...
