Life Meets Horizons.

kevin browne

I gave what I got, it cost me my lot
Sat on an edge. things are too hot.
Stood on shoulders, pillars are they
Soldiers I fought with, I start to pray.

Black in white, too, colour has gone
Drought all along, how'd it go wrong.
Planked till I was dum, anger a doubt
T'was anger and some I heard shout.

Played by no rules, held tactics hand
Most overplayed with love in the sand.
Showered with silence, loved over you
Treading on I saw, I saw me turn to blue.

And life meets horizons, crazy creations
Trail tracks I left on was full of dimensions.
Printed the T-shirt, a colourful one at that
Give what I got to, bring everything back.

War crimes and movies. I'll tell the story
I lost what I got and lost all the sad glory.
Been knuckled, buckles and belts, a blurt
Footprints on hearts, broken int two hurts.

Forrest's and mountains are far too steep
Teardrops taught to love the time to keep.
Somewhere, somehow, a failure of mine
Backwards and forwards, wasted my time.

The sadness I cried all along to start anew
Friends were frequent, but I looked for you.
Treadmills turn love over as I whirled away
Whether what happens I may stay for a day.

Held hands and shields, I made up a defence
Prayed to Lord Jesus if I smoked an offence
Yes, the fire was quite hot, but we know of it
Kisses and cuddles made it worth every bit.

Windows and wishes lost undercover
Waves undercover to find me a lover.
A diamond of hope, I'll hope to believe
Chance is usually gone painted in green.

Those thistles that pricked, I took the tick
Planted on planets up and a throttle stick.
Mars was a wonder but wondered did I
To dream over Venus and ask how to fly.

Ending is near
I'll taste a fear
Hold my heart
I did my part.

That you did and that part was great, I read your post today that felt so heartbreakingly done but I saw this title and wanted to read.
You many of been many things but right not you are a legend to me, from your words I've drawn hope, I've seen the paths I've taken and broke.
My Inspiration to live, I absorb from every thing, so I show you...... Ooooo see I can already hear a poem, must dash. Good bye sleep 😉

In that moment I missed you
In that moment I kissed you
    You're always there for me
We'll always be here to see
    Everything is silent
    Everything is a second
    To make first come right
But, that's just what I reckon.
