MINNESOTA RAIN

Thomas J. Dooley

Chased by the clouds while searching for that inspirational sound

Don't know how I feel as the rains come down

Reverences shouldn't be this loud

Minnesota rain, if it stops, will I feel the same way as I do today

Traveled a long way to feel inspiration instead of pain

This is the price I paid to be lied at I hope this is not just another tourist trap

Just want to be in the audience and clap even if I can't dance

Putting away my fears, the doves and I have different tears

Minnesota rain comes down at night hope it ends with the morning light

In my sleep, I have paisley dreams and the hope to see so many things

The Avenue I will take a walk so many people waiting to hear the art

Passing the square still hear his voice in the air

Dylan might have many colors but sound like no other

Minnesota rain pass me by just want a little more time

Just want to feel the purple omens this is where inspiration is home
