Out Of All The Flowers In My Garden

Crazybabe72

Out of all the flowers in my garden,

You are the prettiest one.

Out of all the flowers that have grown,

You are the closest to the sun.

There’s so much beauty in this garden

Now that I’ve planted you there.

So much beauty from your stem,

No other flower could ever compare.

I can’t wait to watch you bloom each day,

Keep you watered in the sun.

I need you in my garden,

Please tell me you will stay?

Out of all the flowers in my garden,

Lilies are the best.

Especially the violet ones,

For her I’m truly blessed.

This is a sweet variation on an old theme. Du bist wie eine Blume, sang Heinrich Heine. You are so like a flower! It took a second read for me to be sure you meant a cultivated friend... then I stumbled on your comment, but you know it works even if you just mean a violet lily! Lily is lucky to have you as a friend.
