L'inconnue -
Where, why, and who?
Beatific and serene,
Her face was washed clean
By the welcoming waters,
Paris' abandoned daughters
Have always found a home there.
She appears to smile
With effortless style,
Like the watery gems
And the lashes which hold them,
Her lips often kissed
And in a beautiful twist -
To this day she saves others from drowning.

what a delightful dedication to the tragic, mysterious and otherwise unknown woman of the Seine... I dont think you could have chosen a more fitting font either.... Neville
A most interesting penned picture of an lovely unknown who supports those abandoned by silent appeals. Agree too with Neville that you chose just the right font for the story of why the death-mask of a famed and mysterious lady.
A great and beautiful lamented story of a mystery unseen. Everything is clear, subtle, provocative followed by a style which I find quite talented. Great work here to be hung upon the wall.
