Bittersweet

Bonnie

The children they scampered  across the ground.

The dogs happily frolicked on the grass.

Didn’t they noticed the flowers they killed?

As I stoop down I felt the cold breeze giving me a hug

It’s bittersweet

The petals are scattered across the soft grass

They feel like softest clouds in the land of dreams

Their mesmerizing scent is what I found

Suddenly the whispers they tell me

“Enjoy this moment”

How can I?

It feels bittersweet...
