Absquatulate

BreeG

When you think you mean something to someone and they prove that thought wrong.

When you think, “Maybe this will work out for me afterall”

When you justify actions, and make up excuses to make yourself feel a little better.

When you can’t REALLY smile or laugh because every fiber of your being hurts.

Why does this feel like a death in the family?

As if part of you has died and left you all alone.

When you have to figure out how to carry on.

When you sit and think to yourself... “They didn’t even say goodbye”

When you ask yourself, “Am I not worth it?”

One unsaid word.

Seven unspoken letters.

Not being worth a simple goodbye.

One devastated heart.
