My One and Only Failure

Broken by your silver dress,

For I can only regress,

When you dance in your leopard skin,

With no love for your fellow kin,

Who took you under his wing,

To only endure the sting,

Of your venomous lies,

Beneath those cheerful eyes,

That break hearts by the masses,

Through your all seeing glasses,

Crippling emotions with no remorse,

As I am left with no other course,

But to wipe away the misery,

Of every lovely memory!

Very unique images - well done!

An ensemble of a piece of a heartbreak and an escape that is hard to find, one of freedom, not betrayal. And irony.
